Teaching assistant: Introduction to Astrophysics - Leiden University

I am a teaching assistant for the Undergraduate course Introduction to Astrophysics with Prof. dr. Henk Hoekstra as instructor. In this course students learn principles in modern physics to understand various processes in the Universe. As a teaching assistant I am responsible for the practical classes by discussing exercises related to the physical processes in the Universe with the students. These subjects can vary from the Solar System to the basic principles of cosmology.

Teaching assistant: Practical Astronomy - Leiden University

I was a teaching assistant for the Undergraduate course Practical Astronomy with Prof. dr. Huib-Jan van Langevelde as instructor in 2019-2020. In this course students perform astronomical measurements including observations, to study relevant physical processes and learn how to process astronomical data (using python) and how to calculate uncertainties. As a teaching assistant I support the seminars consisted of programming assignments in python to learn students how to process astronomical data. During the course I also take students to the Old Observatory in Leiden to do observations.
